Grants

The 17 town committees have been very successful with Historical Activities this year. The popular National project is Oral Histories, and Valdosta leads the way.  They created two DVDs featuring eleven Valdosta Dames. The Grants committee awarded $20,169 in grants monies to ten town committees for fifteen different grants projects. The total amount of grants  awarded when matched since 2000 totals $403,828.
